Hypno-Band Weight Loss Programme
How does it work?
The Hypno-Band is a combination of suggestion, visualisation and cognitive behavioural therapy techniques which help the client to make changes that allow sustained weight loss. By using the “Virtual Gastric Band” we convince the client that they have undergone gastric band surgery thereby enabling them to eat smaller portions and have their hunger satisfied earlier. The “Gastric Band” part of the process is a mechanism that helps the client believe that their stomach is smaller with less capacity for food. There is none of the risk associated with actual surgery.

It is important to emphasise that the client must be fully committed to making significant lifestyle changes in order to be successful. The Hypno-Band is not a “Magic Bullet” that will miraculously make them thin! No weight loss method will be effective unless the client understands that this is not something we “do to them” but rather that they must be prepared to change not only the way they eat but the way they think about eating.

Therapy for Phobias

Insomnia

Sleep is a time for rest and recovery. It helps us maintain good mood, memory and cognitive performance and helps control obesity, diabetes, hypertension and depression.
We’ve all experienced transient insomnia during hot weather or when sleeping away from home. Others may have found themselves wide awake in the middle of the night, worrying about work or family issues.
Long term insomnia is usually due to a combination of factors and medication is rarely the answer.
The Insomnia Treatment Package is in two parts:
Session 1
Approx 90 mins
Gaining an understanding of the importance of sleep and its stages
Identification of possible causes of insomnia
Dealing with stress and anxiety
Breathing techniques
Reconditioning and sleep restriction
Evening sleep ritual
Creating affirmations
Guided relaxation and hypnotherapy
You will then practise the techniques at home for a couple of weeks and keep a sleep journal
