We could all do with this now but will have to wait until after lockdown and post vaccination. I've been busy on ebay and have a range of instruments, from booming Chau Gong to tinkling Koshi chimes. The singing bowls arrived surprisingly quickly from Kathmandu and being hand hammered they actually sing. An ocean drum really recreates the sound of waves on the seashore. Next up is the small tank drum which is on its way from Russia.
I will offer individual Sound Therapy Meditation and hope to do a local Sound Bath group session. A Sound Bath is a wonderful experience. All you have to do is lie down on a mat or blanket and cover yourself with a coat or blanket. Deep breathing and relaxation are enhanced by the resonance of the instruments. I will do a guided meditation and you'll be surprised how easy it is to clear your mind and focus on the bells, bowls, drums, gong and chimes.
I miss my clients. We'll have a lot of catching up to do. Until we can meet, keep well and fit in some regular exercise.

I can offer therapies to groups of 2, 3 or 4 people. While one person has the therapy, the others can relax, chat, have a cup of tea and gaze out at the view.
I recently attended a Wellbeing party at a client's venue. People took it in turns to have a short therapy and we all thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

I am no longer at the log cabin. We moved last week to a lovely house up Hill Top Road, Thornton. Over the next week or two I'll be decorating the new therapy room and will post pictures when it is completed. It's very warm and peaceful.
See you soon.

Lovely message from one of my clients who had a fear of swimming. We spent a couple of hours in the hut one appropriately wet evening, chatting about the problem, doing some cognitive behaviour therapy and finishing off with hypnotherapy. She's on holiday now, has been in three different pools and enjoyed the water chute. Brilliant!
if there's anyone else out there with any sort of phobia, get in touch. I love doing these sessions and you'll be so pleased you came.
